Health & Wellness Program

A science-based self-management program developed at Stanford University

The FREE Health & Wellness program provides support for people to take control of their health. Through six healthy living workshops, participants will learn skills to manage the symptoms of chronic disease. Each workshop encourages participants to share experiences and support one another along the way.

Topics covered include:

  • Managing symptoms
  • Exercise for strength and energy
  • Healthy eating
  • Medication use
  • Working with your doctor
  • Setting goals
  • Problem solving
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Dealing with negative emotions

Workshops are open to adults with any type of chronic disease, their family members or caregivers, or anyone hoping to learn some healthy habits.
